Designing the Book Cover for Super Nurse by Prof. Nokuthula Sibiya
This was one of those projects that reminded me why I love what I do I recently had the chance to design the book cover for Super Nurse , written by Prof. Nokuthula Sibiya — and it was such a fun and inspiring experience My Design Process I started off in Photoshop 2022 (yep, still rocking the 2022 version 😅). That’s where I built the main layout and got the overall look and feel right — playing with color, light, and the visual emotion I wanted the cover to have. Once that base design came together, I moved over to Illustrator to handle the finer details — the typography, spine, and back layout. Illustrator always gives me that crisp vector control I need to make everything print-ready and clean. The Vision The goal was simple: create a cover that celebrates the power, heart, and resilience of nurses. I wanted it to feel professional, warm, and heroic — just like the title.
